FLOOR PLAN LAYOUT: We will obtain a floor plan of your new residence and work with you to lay out the furniture that will most
safely and comfortably fit in your new home. We will provide you with a copy so you are able to play with the layout as part of the
design process.
DESIGN SERVICES: To complete your move we can help with furniture selection, window treatments, reupholstery, paint
selection, closet organization and other design ideas/services as needed.
ORGANIZE/SORT BELONGINGS: We will guide you through the process of downsizing your belongings, sorting and separating
the items that will move with you, items to sell, donate or to discard. Upon your request, we can do the sorting with you!
PACK/UNPACK/SET IN PLACE: We will assist the movers in packing ALL of your belongings and will completely unpack them in
your new home. We specialize in re-creating your favorite spaces, and with the help of our floor plan and a digital camera, we’ll
put your books back on the correct shelves, food back in the pantry, and photos exactly in the same locations as they were in your
old home. We’ll organize the rest of your items in new closets and storage areas, and arrange furniture to your liking.
ARRANGE/COORDINATE MOVING COMPANIES: We have strong relationships with many professional movers in the area and will
happily recommend them to you. We will also assist in reviewing any estimates and helping you to find ways to save on the
move. Once you have decided which moving company you will use, we’ll coordinate all of the particulars such as dates, times,
the size of the crew, securing loading docks and elevators and making sure all day-of-move details are in place.
ARRANGE FOR CABLE TV/PHONE/UTILITY TRANSFERS: We’ll schedule to have your services disconnected and then re-
established at your new home to provide the least amount of interruption possible.
GROCERY SHOP RESTOCK: No time to visit the grocery store on the day of your move? We will happily take your grocery list and
do the shopping for you, so that your kitchen is stocked when you arrive home.
COORDINATE ESTATE SALES: If you have a large amount of furniture or large items to liquidate, we can arrange to have a
professional dealer either buy your items outright or coordinate an estate sale.
WEB AUCTIONS: For items of reasonable value that won’t get their value back at estate sales, we can auction these items on
established sites such as E-Bay. Some clients choose to keep the money; others choose to donate it to a favorite charity.
DONATION COORDINATION: We will pack up all donation items and arrange to have them picked up by your local charity
organizations. We will provide a detailed list of what is donated for your tax preparations.
DOCUMENT DESTRUCTION: We will take your confidential documents and have them destroyed with certification.
CLEAN OUTS: Once you’re moved out of your old home, we can return to dispose of all trash and broom sweep the residence for
turnover to the next owners, occupants or landlords.
